Striking Set 1

With feet together, step out to your left and cover your weapon, then drop your hands back into a horse stance:

  1. Right punch, followed by a right backfist to 12 o’ clock. Repeat with the left hand
  2. Right punch, followed by a right downward outward hammer fist to 12 o’ clock. Repeat with the left hand
  3. Right punch, followed by a right inverted backfist to 12 o’ clock. Repeat with the left hand
  4. Right punch, followed by a right inward hammerfist to 12 o’ clock. Repeat with the left hand
  5. Repeat steps 1–4 striking to 3 o’ clock with the right hand and 9 o’ clock with the left hand alternately (8 moves)
  6. Repeat steps 1–4 striking to 12 o’ clock with both hands simultaneously (4 moves)
  7. Repeat steps 1–4 striking to 3 o’ clock and 9 o’ clock with both hands simultaneously (4 moves)
  8. To close, from the double inward hammerfists, draw your fists back to a horse stance then step feet together and double punch down to the front
  9. Roll the double punches over to a double backfist
  10. Draw the backfists back and then loop them around into a double inverted backfist
  11. Drop the double inverted backfists down into a double inward hammerfists
  12. Cover your weapon and drop out to the left
